Guitarcittern 12 String - with pickup
The guitar cittern is one of our oldest instruments, conceived and marketed by us and now in its fourth generation. Time for a relaunch! On the outside its essentially the same, the inside though has been extensively revised.
On the shoulders of the instrument, where the body opens into the neck, the frames have become narrower. As a result, the high and medium frequencies are radiated even better and amplify the typical cittern-like, overtone-rich sound characteristic of the instrument. The slightly curved bottom ensures a high level of loudness. These guitars are suitable for solo as well as for chord play, power chords coming across strong.
The bracing is completely new. Our guitar builder has also stabilized all frets with synthetic resin in a self-developed process so that they can not be loosened even after years of playing and can be reworked more easily. The bridge is screwed, increasing its stability.
