5-string violin Quintone ELITE 4/4 with integrated pick-up
This version of our 5-string violin is especially suitable for the on stage professional in a folk band due to a permanently installed, integrated pickup!

- The integrated system does not have to be mounted or dismounted, and does not wear out like attachable pickups.
For the true professional, we have combined this system with the high quality version of our Quintone: with a bold, flamed maple back and antique varnish! Selected solid woods have also been used for the well seasoned spruce top as well as the flamed maple sides and neck. The neck and fingerboard are optimally designed for 5 strings. The tonal spectrum of this violin is gigantic - with the lowest string tuned to C there are completely new possibilities, making this instrument quite unique. There is probably no other fiddle that offers so many sound variations - from the classic cadenza through four octaves to traditional fiddle styles as well as the use of a foot pedal-effect device.
Built within the EU, each violin is finally reworked and set up by our in-house luthier. We deliver the instrument with plate bridge and Wittner fine tuners. After extensive testing, we have decided to equip the "Quintone" with Thomastik-Dominant nylon core strings. The result is an even, pleasant playing feel and a rounded sound on all five strings.
For optimal playing and sound quality, we recommend you use the matching Thomastik "Dominant" colophony. Those who have not tried it will not believe how much difference the right rosin can make!
