Octavo Violin
This attractive violin is made of solid wood with well seasoned spruce top as well as back, sides and neck from lightly flamed maple. It is the same model as our "Session-Violin", but nevertheless totally different! We equipped it with octavo strings by Thomastik. Not easy to comprehend... to clamp a violin under your chin in order to play Cello... It takes the violinist only a short moment of coming to grip with the high responsiveness of those strong strings, and then the wonderful romantic world of solid, deep sound opens wide. - And, as we are expecting from Thomastik strings, with a well balanced sound and feeling all over the scala.
Die Geige wurde innerhalb der EU gebaut, und wir liefern das Instrument mit Teller-Steg und Wittner-Feinstimmern aus. In unserer hauseigenen Werkstatt haben wir die Geige noch einmal überarbeitet und für die oktavierten Saiten optimal eingerichtet.
The violin was made within the EU, prepared with Teller chevalet and Wittner fine tuners. Also our in-house violin builder inspected and equipped the instrument with Thomastik Octavo Strings, ensuring a continuously comfortable handling and a balanced sound throughout the whole pitch range.
