Banjos of all kinds

Banjos of all kinds

Four stringed tenor banjos and five stringed bluegrass banjos, guitar banjos, bass banjos and mandolin banjos

All Banjos are not the same. The four-string tenor banjos are often used in Irish Folk or Oldtime Jazz and are tuned in fifths. The five-string banjos are tuned open and are mainly used in bluegrass and country music. Guitar banjos, as the name suggests, are tuned like a guitar and have 6 strings.
