Folkfriends Ukulele Banjo /Banjolele
For more than 15 years we have traded and improved banjos of other brands. In all these years we have not had one that met our quality standards. Sometimes the neck angle was miscalculated, sometimes the varnish was faulty and as a rule the fingerboard was not properly finished, the bridge height was not adjusted and the upper saddle was not machined. So we decided to bring a really good, perfectly playable beginner instrument onto the market. Here it is:
Our ukulele banjo has a body made of mahogany with a REMO Weatherking skin of 8 1/4" diameter and a neck made of nato wood. The scale is 380 mm (15 inches) and corresponds to a concert ukulele. The fingerboard is made of ebony. The guitar pegs make it easy to tune the nylon strings. The instrument is made ready to play in our master workshop. Thus it can be played through all positions comfortably and without effort. The instrument brings an amazing volume and has a sound that is at least as amazing as well as rich from such a small body.
Total length 61 cm (24 inches); weight 1.15 kg (2.5 pounds), neck on upper saddle 3.5 cm (1.4 inches) wide, bridge of maple with ebony finish, 18 frets.
